What is your role at Spacia Group, how long have you been with the company, and what is your favorite part about what you do?
I just joined the Spacia team on July 1, 2019 as the Vice-President of Operations. I look forward to working with a great team, growing new leaders, and providing our clients with high quality and dependable service.
What experience have you had prior to your current role that most influences your work at Spacia Group?
I have over 20 years of experience in leading development teams in a fast-paced engineering design industry. My leadership, project management, and engineering background gives me a well-blended set of skills to lead and drive improvements for a world class organization.
Have you ever met anyone famous? If yes, where did you meet them and what did you say?
I have a history of talking with famous people and not knowing who they are. In the late 1990s, I was waiting at a gate in the Atlanta airport and I started talking to the gentleman next to me. As we talked, many people waved and came up to him to give him a high five. I finally asked who he was and why everyone knew him. He introduced himself, his name was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
What do you consider your greatest achievement and why?
Have you ever heard that your greatest achievement in life is not something you do, but someone you raise? My three daughters are definitely my greatest achievement, they bring so much joy to my wife and I and to so many others. I pray that they will continue to love and serve others throughout their life.
What's the scariest thing you've ever done?
Parachuting from a perfectly good airplane at 3,000 feet was one of the scariest things I have ever done. I am afraid of heights, but once the chute successfully opened it was one of the most peaceful, amazing moments.
